” The Artist Way, ” by Julia Cameron is a great book that has been around for awhile and should not be forgotten.  This 12 week program is almost guaranteed to work if you put a little effort into it.  I’ve gone through this book twice,  once in the nineties,  and once in 2005.  Some of us are slow learners,  so we have to do a repeat to stop the ” creative spasms ” that artists of all types seem to go through.  This book should be in all artists libraries.  The “Artist Way”  is for aspiring and working artists.  It gets you back to the basics of creating art and helps silent the  inner voice of the critic and judge.
